How Major Soundz came about

Starting his DJ career in 1997 at underground clubs and small bars in and around Johannesburg CBD area, mixing a blend of House-Kwaito-Hip-Hop and RnB, this is where learnt how to be a versatile DJ.

After receiving multiple requests from “patron’s” that frequently attended the various clubs DJ Rudy worked at, Rudy decided to “formalised” his services and registered a mobile DJ Service called Major Soundz.

Major Soundz is a registered PTY (LTD) Mobile DJ Service with a BBBEE Level 1 rating.Major Soundz is also SAMPRA and SAMRO licensed.

We utilize only the best in Sound, industry leading JBL EON speakers and JBL subs. Our Shure SM58 wireless microphone system ensures those important speeches and announcements are heard clearly and transparently.

For DJ’ing we use the industry leading Serato DJ Pro software and the rock solid reliability of Apple Macbook Pro for our massive music library.

WOW !!!!!. DJ Rudy played for my wedding this past weekend and man did this guy deliver. He blew me and my guests away. From the professional manner in which he presented himself for the occasion, to helping with the projector (which by the way was not part of his service but stepped in to help with the technical difficulty), to the playlist that kept 99% of my guests on the dance floor for 100% of the party.
