How Major Soundz Came to Life

Rudy kicked off his DJ journey in 1997, spinning at underground clubs and cozy bars around Johannesburg's CBD. Blending House, Kwaito, Hip-Hop, and R&B, he honed his skills as a versatile crowd-pleaser right from the start.

 

Frequent patrons at these venues kept requesting his services for private events, so Rudy took the leap. He formalized his passion by registering Major Soundz as a professional mobile DJ service.

 

Today, Major Soundz is a registered PTY (LTD) company with a BBBEE Level 1 rating. We're fully licensed by SAMPRA and SAMRO, ensuring compliance and top-quality performances every time.

WOW !!!!!. DJ Rudy played for my wedding this past weekend and man did this guy deliver. He blew me and my guests away. From the professional manner in which he presented himself for the occasion, to helping with the projector (which by the way was not part of his service but stepped in to help with the technical difficulty), to the playlist that kept 99% of my guests on the dance floor for 100% of the party.
